Handmade Ceramic Hanging Lobster Decoration or Magnet
Hello.
This listing is for one of my handmade ceramic lobster hanging ornaments or magnet.
I'll select your very own ornament for you. The ornaments are single sided.
The decorations are approximately 12cm at their longest point.

About the process for hand making a ceramic decoration:
I cut out and form each lobster using a stamp. Every edge has to be smoothed. I use a fine pin to find the correct spot for the hole for the ribbon to allow the decoration to hang. Once this is complete, the decoration heads into the kiln for its first firing at 1000degrees. Once out of the kiln, the underglazing begins. Consisting of 3 coats usually for optimum coverage. Each decoration is painted by hand, by me.
Once painting is complete, the little lobster heads back into the kiln for the underglaze to be fired on. Once fired, and cooled, it is dipped in a clear glaze and fired one final time. Before being packaged and sent to you with love from me and Doughnut.
