Hello.
This listing is for one of my handmade ceramic whippet decorations.

Each decoration is made by hand, by mean, and takes around 4-6 weeks to produce and fire in the kilns. Due to the handmade nature of these little decorations, there might be small imperfections and differences in size. Some of the dogs have metal hoops attached on top and others have small holes for ribbon attachment.
The decorations are approximately 9-11cm at their longest point.
Please note, there may be additional import fees on delivery, depending on where in the world you live.
About the process for hand making a ceramic decoration:
I cut out and form each whippet using a stamp. Every edge has to be smoothed. I use a fine pin to find the correct spot for the hole for the ribbon to allow the decoration to hang. Once this is complete, the decoration heads into the kiln for its first firing at 1000degrees. Once out of the kiln, the underglazing begins. Consisting of 3 coats usually for optimum coverage. Each decoration is painted by hand, by me.
Once painting is complete, the little doggo heads back into the kiln for the underglaze to be fired on. Once fired, and cooled, it is dipped in a clear glaze and fired one final time. Before being packaged and sent to you with love from me and Doughnut.
