We will be putting together lots more BTS of Made By Harriet to show you what goes into making all your favourite dog and cat themed illustrations - Harriet's favourite materials, exciting projects that we're working on and general shenanigans of the studio. For now, I wanted to share with you all what most of Harriet's texts to me consist of.
If Harriet messages me a photo, 9 times out of 10, she has dropped something. She is a menace to herself and to the studio. If Sean Connery isn't knocking things off the counters, Harriet is throwing Juice or tea on the floor. The carpet and rugs are covered in mysterious stains.

We have discussed buying her a sippy-cup, if anyone has some recommendations please let us know..
There is always a puzzle on the go in the studio for when Harriet needs a little mental break from important business stuff or new artwork. However between her and Sean Connery knocking pieces off the table, it's an absolute miracle if they are finished with every piece it started with. She once text me a photo of a few pieces in her hand because they had literally fallen out of her hair before a shower. How?

The culprit of this one, Sean Connery, (the moustached-menace) causally watching the starlings out the window after tipping the whole board over.
The puzzles that are 'completed' are always donated to our lovely local charity shops however they are accompanied with a note from Harriet apologising about the missing pieces. Sorry if you end up with one of these, but hopefully you will get a kick out of her handwritten messages.

And of course, this is an artist studio so there have absolutely been incidents with materials including paint and a whole tub of pencil shavings...

I do like this photo though because the squash seems to still be standing.
