It’s Monday and Claire and I are in the studio.
We’re packing orders, taking photos and sorting stuff out.
I've had a busy weekend with the band (The Zoots). We did some gigs, I ate some Doritos™️.

I have had some very exciting treetos come out of the kiln which I can’t wait to get listed on the website. Patreons and then newsletter subscribers will get first look and first dibs. If you'd like to join my Patreon, you can do so here. I sometimes post stuff there, stuff you wont see anywhere else.
I’m VERY PROUD of myself as I not only BOUGHT COMPOST, I actually managed to repot two of my mostly dead plants, my schefflera (I think it is also known as an umbrella plant), and my rubber plant. I’ve had both for many years, and mostly neglected. I have no idea how the umbrella plant survived this long. Repotting these felt like such a small, but also a REALLY BIG task at the same time, and I can’t quite believe I did it. They both already look healthier and happier. You can see more of the other studio plants in Claire’s blog here.
My monstera cutting is going *OK* (fingers crossed), the roots seem to be growing, and I’ve been reading about using 3% hydrogen peroxide to help when propagating plants. I want to learn more, to help these guys to grow, but I’m struggling to find the time to read and learn. The cool lil wolf teeth you see here are from the most perfect ceramic piece I got from Ben Fosker.
It’s so fun having Claire in the studio. She’s really helpful, organised and puts up with me and my chaos. I’ve known Claire a long time as she is engaged to our lead guitarist from The Zoots, Adam. Claire does so much to help in the studio, and I’d really be lost without her. (Please dont ever leave Claire). Claire did her first blog post last week.
Claire has two dogs, Oskar and Luna. Claire likes bats and FAB ice lollies.
Claire wanted me to tell you to please buy some sleeping dog mugs, and some sleeping dog tea towels as we need to create some more space in the Made by Harriet studio as we've got some new stock arriving soon.
Claire has been busy today, listing some new items, sorting out the new dog head brooches and magnets as well as clearing up after the chaos I’ve created whilst she has been away this week.
Here she is pretending to get a box.
We also took some time trying to set up a little tea party with Claire and Sean Connery to tell you more about these teapots (which are now reduced and there are only two of them). If you'd like to buy a teapot, you can do so by clicking this link. They really took me ages, so I'd love for them to go to a very excellent home. And I'd also love some cool photos of them. Thank you so much.
Claire has also listed this cool jug with a cracked base. I actually think it might be water tight, but the base is definitely cracked, so I would only suggest using it for dried flowers. I don't wanna make any promises about it holding water. As it’s "faulty" (sob), it's reduced massively in price. I’ve had it in the studio for ages as I love it so much. I only ever did one of these as it took such a long time. And after the base cracked in the kiln, my spirit also cracked, so I didn’t feel like I could make any more. :( I hope it finds a nice home. If you'd like it, please click here.
Side note: we (Claire) has removed the *BASE CRACKED* writing from the jug. It took her 25 minutes and she complained throughout, but the writing has gone. Thanks for being ace Claire.

We’ve also been sorting so much out and we’ve got a tonne of tiles we’d love to sell. They’re actually a bit of a crazy crazy bargain because they’re all painted by hand, by me, and they’re £24.
Claire has sorted out all my little handmade ceramic brooches and magnets. I love them so much, please give them a home. There are lots of cat head magnets. There are also cat head brooches available. There's lots of polar bear magnets and brooches available too. I don't know what made me do so many, but I have lots, and they're very sweet so please buy them. You can see all the pin badges we have here.
Doughnut has had a good week. He's been on some nice walks, slept a lot and barked a lot. This morning he woke me up as he had crept into my bedroom, and was right by my head, wanting a stroke, I think, which is very unlike him. I loved it though. He really is so increcible, so communicative, and just so wonderful. I call him my hairy do-do. And give him all the tummy rubs and kisses in the morning. You can find him on instagram here.
I'll leave this here for now. It's long and I'm quite tired.
Please do leave a comment below. We love hearing from you, and it's also good for SEO.
Thanks for being here lovelies,
Harriet, Doughnut and Sean Connery x

Excellent chuckles. Can we have more photos of pretending to do things please, they are the best. My top 3 would be:
1. Pretending to pour tea but missing with shocked face
2. Pretending to dust the top of the shelves whilst Pretending to fall off a stool
3. Pretending to eat all the treatos in front of 🍩 🐕
